What Pristine, Superb and Good actually mean.
Not one of them says anything about whether the device works — That's guaranteed on every unit, every time. The grade only tells you two things: what it looks like, and how healthy the battery is. Both are judged differently depending on the device — See the exact standard for your category below.
Manufacturer‑refurbished, brand‑new battery
Manufacturer‑certified refurbished stock — Which is why it's the only grade that comes with a genuinely new battery, not just a healthy one.

Flawless screen, faint casing wear at most
The closest thing to new for less: a screen with zero marks, and no more than the faintest signs of handling on the lid or casing.

Visible light scratches or minor marks on the lid or casing, consistent with a year or two of regular use. The screen itself is flawless on every laptop grade we sell, including this one — It's the one thing that never varies.

The grade describes cosmetic condition and battery health only. Full functional testing is identical across Pristine, Superb and Good — Every unit passes all of it, regardless of grade.
Display & touch
Brightness, backlight uniformity, dead or stuck pixels, and — On phones and tablets — Digitizer response and force/3D touch across the full surface.
Buttons & input
Power, volume and home buttons, Face ID/Touch ID/fingerprint sensors, and — On laptops — Every key, the trackpad and hinge action.
Cameras & audio
Front and rear cameras, flash, earpiece and loudspeakers, and all microphones — The details people notice most on a used phone.
Ports & connectivity
Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, cellular activation, GPS, and every port individually tested for a firm, reliable connection — Including a full charge‑and‑discharge cycle. Loose or worn ports are checked especially closely on laptops.
Battery
Health percentage and cycle count measured directly, not estimated. Pristine units carry a genuinely new battery; every figure on the listing is the figure we measured.
Software & security
Account locks (iCloud, Google, Samsung, MDM) removed, a certified data wipe completed, and a lost/stolen/blacklist check run against the IMEI or serial number.
